abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a rise in lamp voltage and evaporation of an alumina tube during a lifetime in a high-pressure vapor discharge lamp having a rated lamp power of 220 W or more and 250 W or less using a translucent ceramic tube as an arc tube. Realizes a lamp with safe and stable characteristics without outer tube damage. SOLUTION: An arc tube made of translucent alumina is incorporated in an outer tube made of glass whose inside is kept at a pressure of 0.2 Pa or less, and a main tube of the arc tube is provided between the outer tube and the arc tube. It has a structure in which a glass tube having a thickness of 1.4 mm or more and 1.8 mm or less is attached so as to surround all the side surfaces, the rated lamp power Wt is 220 W ≦ Wt ≦ 250 W, A high-pressure vapor discharge lamp having a diameter of 15 mm or more and 18 mm or less, and an inner diameter of the glass tube of 24 mm or more. |
