titleOfInvention | Photothermographic material and method for producing the same |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photothermographic material having high sensitivity and low fog and improved raw storability and a method for producing the same. A method for producing a photothermographic material, characterized by satisfying the following requirements. (1) Between the preparation of the organic silver salt and the preparation of the coating solution, a step of generating a non-photosensitive silver halide is provided. (2) The photosensitive silver halide is prepared independently of the step described in (1). (3) The photosensitive silver halide is mixed with an organic silver salt prior to the step described in (1). (4) The mixture in the step described in (3) is dispersed. (5) After adding an adsorbed compound to at least one of the photosensitive silver halide and the organic silver salt to the dispersion in the step described in (4), a supersensitizer or a chemical sensitizer is added. At least one of them must be added. |
