titleOfInvention Exhaust particulate filter
abstract (57) [Summary] In a wall flow type filter, cracks are prevented from being generated in a filter medium when the filter medium is exposed to a high temperature due to the heat of combustion of trapped fine particles, thereby improving durability. In addition, regeneration of the filtration surface is measured for the accumulation of the exhaust gas fine particles. A ceramic fiber sheet is used to absorb thermal expansion generated by exposing the inside of a honeycomb structure to a high temperature, thereby preventing a filter from cracking. In addition, a heat insulating space is provided in a part of the filter medium to naturally oxidize the exhaust gas particles, and furthermore, it is possible to use an oxidation catalyst for the particles in combination.
