(57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] Even when hydrated sludge is supplied irregularly and non-quantitatively, hydrated sludge is brought to a predetermined moisture content without flowing air into a cylindrical strainer. It is a technical issue to be able to dehydrate. A level sensor (8) for detecting a liquid surface position of hydrated sludge supplied to a hopper (7) formed at a supply port (4in) of a cylindrical strainer (4) is provided. The rotation of the screw press (5) was stopped when the liquid level of the sludge dropped to the lower limit water level (L 0 ) in the hopper (7) set in advance. |
