abstract | (57) [Summary] [Problem] To provide a method for producing a lithographic printing plate precursor having a photosensitive layer excellent in image formability, which can directly make a plate from digital information of a computer or the like and can form a uniform image as a whole. I do. SOLUTION: Microwave irradiation drying is performed by irradiating a plate on which a photosensitive layer coating solution containing an alkali-soluble polymer compound and a compound that absorbs light and generates heat by applying light onto a support is irradiated with microwaves. It is characterized by having a process. Prior to the microwave irradiation drying step, it is preferable to have a convection heating drying step of drying by a convection heating method by blowing air from the viewpoint of improving the uniformity of drying conditions. |
