[PROBLEMS] To provide a bearing capable of preventing abrasion of a bearing at a contact portion with a shaft member and avoiding a possibility of thermal deformation, and a method of manufacturing the bearing. SOLUTION: A bearing excellent in wear resistance and a manufacturing method thereof are disclosed. The bearing of the present invention has a metal oxide thin film containing a zirconium component and a metal component other than zirconium on the surface of the bearing base material. |
