Kind Code: A1 A colored glass product comprising a colorant fixed to a glass material surface via a cationizing agent. The cationizing agent is, for example, a quaternary ammonium salt such as alkylpyridinium bromide, and the coloring agent is various acid dyes, for example, metal complex dyes. The colored surface may be further subjected to a surface treatment with a water-dispersed polyurethane resin for improving the fastness.
