Novel human daxus gene and protein encoded by it |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Object] To find a novel gene that is considered to play an essential role in diagnosing and treating related diseases showing symptoms similar to Freeman-Sheldon syndrome. A gene encoding the following protein (a) or (b): (a) a protein consisting of an amino acid sequence identical or substantially identical to the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 2, (b) a sequence In the amino acid sequence represented by No. 2: A protein having an amino acid sequence in which some amino acids have been deleted, substituted or added, and having substantially the same biological activity as a human daxus protein or a drosophila daxus protein; and a recombinant human daxus protein encoded by the above gene . |
