abstract (57) Abstract: A novel photosensitive resin composition for forming a spacer for a liquid crystal display element by photolithography is provided. Specifically, the present invention provides a negative-type photosensitive resin composition which has the conventional characteristics, is highly sensitive, has no development residue (scum), has excellent developability, alkali resistance, and water resistance and is suitable as a material for forming a spacer.
