abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte having high energy density and excellent safety when used for a lithium secondary battery, and a lithium secondary battery using the same. (1) In a non-aqueous electrolyte containing a non-aqueous solvent and a lithium electrolyte, at least one of hydrogen atoms of phosphoric acid or polyphosphoric acid is substituted with a group represented by the general formula [1] as the non-aqueous solvent. Non-aqueous electrolyte to which a phosphate compound is added. Embedded image (Where X is a Si atom or the like, and R 1 to R 3 are carbon (2) In a non-aqueous electrolyte containing a non-aqueous solvent and a lithium electrolyte, at least one of the hydrogen atoms of phosphoric acid or polyphosphoric acid is a group represented by the above general formula [1] as the non-aqueous solvent. Non-aqueous electrolyte containing a phosphate compound substituted with: (3) a positive electrode capable of doping and undoping lithium ions, a negative electrode made of lithium metal or a lithium alloy or a negative electrode capable of doping and undoping lithium ions; A lithium secondary battery comprising a non-aqueous electrolyte and a separator, wherein the non-aqueous electrolyte is the non-aqueous electrolyte of (1) or (2).
