titleOfInvention | Silver halide photographic emulsion and silver halide photographic material |
abstract | (57) Abstract: An object of the present invention is to realize a silver halide photograph which achieves both the improvement of sensitivity and the improvement of graininess which could not be achieved by the prior art, and which has improved storage stability. An object of the present invention is to provide an emulsion and a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material using the same. SOLUTION: At least 50% of the total projected area is normal crystal silver halide grains having an area ratio of (100) plane per grain of 50% or more and a silver iodide content of 5 mol% or less, The silver halide grains having a silver iodide content of 7 mol% or more in a depth range of 7 to 27% from the (100) plane based on the distance between the grain center and the (100) plane. A silver halide photographic emulsion having a shell having a high silver iodide content of 0.1 to 15% of its volume and being reduction sensitized. |
