titleOfInvention Exhaust gas purification device for internal combustion engine
abstract (57) [Summary] A particulate filter is burned more reliably and continuously, and when it is necessary to enhance the ability of the particulate filter to remove and oxidize the particulate, a particulate filter is used. Provided is an exhaust gas purification device for an internal combustion engine that can rapidly raise the temperature. A filter carrying an active oxygen releasing agent that promotes oxidation of fine particles in exhaust gas and capable of capturing fine particles in exhaust gas for a time, and a first flow for flowing exhaust gas from one side of the filter. Exhaust switching means for alternately switching between a second flow through which exhaust gas flows from the other side of the filter, and an exhaust switching means for flowing into the filter when the first flow is used and when the second flow is used. Exhaust gas flowing into the filter of the first stream and the second stream when the temperature of the filter is low and it is necessary to promote the oxidation of particulates. A control means for selecting a side having a higher temperature.
