abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor encapsulating material and a resin composition having excellent flame retardancy, water resistance and thermal conductivity. A resin composition comprising (a) a synthetic resin and (b) magnesium hydroxide particles, wherein the magnesium hydroxide particles meet the following requirements (i) to (iv) (i) by a laser diffraction scattering method. (Ii) The BET specific surface area is 10 m 2 / g or less (iii) The total amount of the Fe compound and the Mn compound is 0.02% by weight or less as a metal (iv) A resin composition for sealing electronic parts, wherein the total content of the U compound and the Th compound satisfies 10 ppb or less in terms of metal. |
