abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide an image recording apparatus which can obtain a good print image with no black frame with a simple configuration without waste in a completely dry system. A storage section for storing a photosensitive and thermosensitive recording material inside a housing of an image recording apparatus, and an optical recording section for recording a latent image by exposing the photosensitive and thermosensitive recording material supplied from the storage section by a light beam scanning device. A heating and developing unit for developing the latent image by heating, a light fixing unit for fixing the developed image by irradiating light, and a discharge unit for discharging the light and heat sensitive recording material on which the image is recorded, and scanning with a light beam. An exposure control device 110 connected to the device 26 generates a frame signal for exposing a frame area, combines the image data read from the image processing device with the frame signal, and generates an optical signal based on the obtained combined signal. The beam scanning device 26 is controlled to expose the light and heat sensitive recording material. |
