abstract | (57) Abstract: A display device using a colloidal liquid crystal composite material, an electro-optical device, a method for forming a colloidal liquid crystal composite material, and a method for manufacturing the electro-optical device are provided. SOLUTION: The display device according to the present invention includes a substrate including electrodes and facing each other at a distance from each other, a spacer arranged between the substrates to form an electro-optical cell with the substrate, and a filling in the electro-optical cell. The liquid crystal composite (CLCC) includes a particle-rich inter-domain region and a liquid crystal micro-domain, and the particle-rich inter-domain region including the colloidal organic particles includes a network formed inside the liquid crystal. |
