abstract (57) [Problem] To provide an exhaust gas purifying catalyst which is excellent in heat deterioration resistance with a small decrease in exhaust gas purification performance even when exposed to a high temperature atmosphere for a long time. SOLUTION: An exhaust gas purifying catalyst is provided with H in exhaust gas. A catalyst metal for redoxing and purifying C, CO and NOx, and a double oxide containing Ce, Zr and Sr are provided.
