titleOfInvention | Method of discriminating cancer cells |
abstract | (57) [Summary] An object of the present invention is to provide a highly sensitive and highly reliable method which enables determination of cancer cells at a cell level. The present invention provides a method for measuring the expression level of the telomerase RT subunit (hTERT) in a test cell by using the mRNA insi tu This is a method for discriminating cancer cells, comprising a step of detecting by hybridization (ISH) and comparing with the expression level of normal cells. Utilization of ISH has enabled discrimination at the cell level. High sensitivity and specificity were achieved by using hTERT as an index. |
