(57) [Problem] To provide a method for industrially producing bishalophenyl disulfides in high yield and high purity. SOLUTION: A halothiophenol is reacted with an alkali metal hydroxide to form a halothiophenolate alkali metal salt, and then disulfide is formed using an oxidizing agent in the presence of a mineral acid. A method for producing bishalophenyl disulfides. |
