abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-speed molding method and apparatus capable of remarkably improving the molding time and accuracy and also significantly reducing the loss of material. SOLUTION: In a high-speed molding apparatus for producing an architectural model, a molded article, a character product, a prototype, and a lost-form cast core, a storage means for storing a plate-shaped strip material that can be cut, and a storage means for storing in the storage means. Transfer means for horizontally transferring the plate material strip, and application means for applying an adhesive to the lower surface of the transferred plate material strip, Cutting means for cutting the transferred plate material strip into a variable width, a variable inclination and a variable length using a linear heat source according to the three-dimensional CAD data of the product; and a plate material strip cut by the cutting means in its vertical direction. The fixing means includes fixing means for fixing and moving vertically, and moving means for moving three-dimensionally so that the cut plate material strips are stacked at respective positions of the three-dimensional product.
