abstract |
(57) [Problem] To provide a monoclonal antibody which specifically reacts with an antigen derived from a genus Echinococcus and does not substantially react with an antigen derived from another tapeworm, and uses thereof. As an issue. A monoclonal antibody that specifically reacts with an antigen derived from Echinococcus reesei is provided. The monoclonal antibody does not show any cross-reactivity with the antigens from the alveolar tapeworm. The monoclonal antibody of the present invention can specifically detect Echinococcus chinensis antigens. In addition, by detecting the antigen of Echinococcus elegans in the feces of the final host using this antibody, a method for early diagnosis of Echinococcus elegans infection becomes possible. |
