(57) [Summary] [Problem] To match the generated power with the drive output even in a transient state such as during rotation speed increase. SOLUTION: A torque control of a motor 4 connected to a drive shaft and a rotation speed control of a generator 2 for supplying electric power thereto are performed in accordance with a traveling state of a vehicle. The power generation output is estimated, and the output shaft torque of the electric motor 4 is limited according to the estimated power generation output. Accordingly, when the kinetic energy of the rotating parts of the engine 1 and the generator 2 is increased, such as during acceleration, the energy consumed is large and the power output of the generator 2 decreases. Since (drive output) is limited, the difference between the power generation output and the drive output can be reduced. |
