abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To prevent dilution of refrigerating machine oil in a compressor even during a liquid back operation, and to prevent compression breakdown. SOLUTION: In a refrigerating apparatus that can absorb oil level fluctuations of low-pressure shell type compressors 1 and 2 using mechanical oil regulators 6 and 7, the refrigerating oil stored in an oil tank 5 via a solenoid valve 14 is provided. A supply pipe for supplying machine oil to the accumulator 12, a float switch 12 for detecting the liquid level of the accumulator 12, and a valve control for controlling the solenoid valve 14 to open when the float switch 13 detects that the accumulator 12 is full.
