abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a dust melting system capable of suppressing generation of NO X and dioxin and having little fly ash melted and adhered. SOLUTION: This is a dust processing apparatus for supplying dust and coke into a shaft furnace, burning and gasifying the dust, and discharging the residue as molten slag to the outside of the furnace, wherein a coke layer is formed at the bottom of the furnace. Forming a dust layer deposited on the coke layer, providing a secondary combustion furnace connected to the shaft furnace, A first air supply port and a second air supply port are provided in the space above the dust layer in the shaft furnace and near the entrance of the secondary combustion furnace, respectively, and the inside of the shaft furnace is chemically formed from the first air supply port. The combustion supporting gas is supplied so as to maintain the stoichiometric air amount or less, the gas is burned, and the combustion support gas is maintained from the second air supply port so as to maintain the stoichiometric air amount in the secondary combustion furnace. The gas is supplied to further burn the gas.
