titleOfInvention DLC-coated machining tools
abstract (57) [Problem] Conventionally, a diamond-like protective film has been directly formed on a cemented carbide substrate in which WC particles constituting a mold surface are dispersed in an Fe, Ni or Co binder. However, these films do not have sufficient adhesion to the cemented carbide substrate, and thus have a long life. SOLUTION: In a working tool used for working of compressing or hitting a part or all of a member such as a metal, a surface of a tool base material which is in contact with a part of a workpiece of the tool is provided with one or more intermediate members. A processing tool, characterized in that a layer is provided and its surface is coated with diamond-like carbon.
