abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for synthesizing a hydrobromide of an aminohydroquinone compound without a volatile by-product, and a hydroiodide of an aminohydroquinone compound and a method for synthesizing the same. SOLUTION: An aniline represented by the general formula (I) is reacted with a hydrohalic acid represented by the general formula (II), wherein the aniline is represented by the general formula (III) A method for producing a hydrohalide of an aminohydroquinone compound. And a hydroiodide of the aminohydroquinone compound thus produced.
