abstract | (57) [Summary] [Problem] To use a lithographic printing press and a plate making method capable of directly forming and making a plate on a printing press, and yet sufficiently distinguishing an image portion from a non-image portion, even under severe printing conditions. And a lithographic printing press and a lithographic printing method capable of obtaining a printed matter free of stains. SOLUTION: An image forming plate cylinder 4, a blanket cylinder 3, an impression cylinder 2, and a coating film applying unit 12, a coating film curing unit 13, an image forming unit 14, and a cleaning unit which are provided close to the image forming plate cylinder 4. The coating film coating unit 12 has a functional group that is crosslinked by light or heat before image formation, and further has a functional group that changes from hydrophilic to hydrophobic by heat generated by infrared irradiation. An image forming layer containing a polymer having the polymer is formed. |
