abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a variable compensator using a fluid instead of a compensator which is cumbersome to manufacture and exchange. SOLUTION: The occupancy of a fluid 2 and a fluid 3 in a cylinder is changed by a bellows 10 driven by a control rod 12 and a fluid 11, and the energy of charged particle beams and the intensity of X-rays passing through the cylinder are reduced. Change. This variable compensator is an assembly of cylinders, and is capable of changing the energy of the charged particle beam and the intensity of the X-ray for each specific section.
