(57) [Abstract] [Purpose] Regarding a method for removing heavy metals from plant and animal extracts, more specifically, vegetables, mushrooms, meats, and the like used in foods, cosmetics, quasi-drugs, and pharmaceuticals, etc. Provided is a method for removing heavy metals such as cadmium, which is regarded as a harmful metal substance, from an extract of fish and shellfish. The present invention is a method for removing heavy metals such as cadmium contained in an extract from plant and animal extracts used for foods and the like. By applying apatite to the extract during the production of plant and animal extracts, heavy metals contained in the extract could be removed. |
