titleOfInvention Aquatic insect artificial rearing system and firefly artificial rearing method
abstract (57) [Abstract] [Problem] To realize artificial breeding of aquatic insects in an environment similar to a natural ecosystem. SOLUTION: This system comprises a running water supply device A for supplying water necessary for growing aquatic insects that can survive only under severe conditions such as firefly larvae, and an assembled flow channel for growing aquatic insects by supplying water therefrom. B. The running water supply device A can supply running water to the flowing water channel B to which purified water, enrichment of dissolved oxygen, adjustment of PH, and bacteria or the like for treating biological wastes are added. The water channel B is composed of a plurality of water channel units 12 connected to each other, and is made of a low alkaline cement capable of supplying a calcium component necessary for growing kawanina, which is a bait for firefly larvae. At the bottom of the channel, there is a gravel layer 14 laid out with quartz schist, where water plants that feed on Kawana are planted to create a consistent ecosystem. Here, the life cycle of living things such as spring water, water-based plants, Kawana, firefly larva, firefly transformation and reproduction is guaranteed.
