(57) Abstract: An active material powder is formed on base particles containing nickel hydroxide, an inner layer made of aluminum hydroxide formed on the surface of the base particles, and an inner layer made of aluminum hydroxide. And an outer layer of cobalt or a cobalt compound. The present invention provides a non-sintered nickel electrode for an alkaline storage battery having a high active material utilization rate and a large discharge capacity. |
