abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a color filter manufacturing method for manufacturing a color filter using a photocatalyst containing layer, the method for manufacturing a color filter capable of minimizing the influence of the photocatalyst on the obtained color filter. Its primary purpose is to provide. SOLUTION: (1) A photocatalyst-containing layer forming step of providing, on a transparent substrate, a photocatalyst-containing layer comprising at least a photocatalyst and a binder, wherein a wettability of an energy irradiated portion changes in a direction in which a contact angle of a liquid decreases. (2) an exposure step of pattern-irradiating energy to a pixel portion forming portion in which pixel portions formed in a predetermined pattern at predetermined intervals on the photocatalyst-containing layer are provided; and (3) the energy is irradiated. A step of applying a developing solution capable of dissolving the photocatalyst-containing layer to the pixel portion forming portion and removing the photocatalyst-containing layer of the pixel portion forming portion; and (4) the photocatalyst-containing layer is removed. The above object is attained by a method for manufacturing a color filter, comprising a step of forming a pixel portion by coloring the pixel portion forming portion by an ink jet method and forming a pixel portion. |
