abstract (57) [Summary] A silkworm variety that produces a large amount of sericin, which is obtained by crossing a mutant “naked pupa line” with a normal variety “robust and multi-threaded line”. According to the silkworm variety that newly produces sericin in large quantities according to the present invention, sericin protein that is in high demand in various industries as a functional material can be produced with high efficiency. In addition, these varieties detect the restriction enzyme fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) of the silkworm chromosomal DNA by using the silkworm cDNA derived from the gene located on each of the 28 pairs of chromosomes of the silkworm as a probe to detect the other. It can be distinguished from silkworm varieties.
