(57) [Problem] To provide a stator winding of each phase composed of a plurality of windings formed by winding a long wire, thereby improving the productivity of the stator. Thus, an AC generator capable of preventing a short circuit accident in the coil end group is obtained. SOLUTION: A multi-phase stator winding 16 is configured by connecting first to fourth windings 31 to 34 in series. The first to fourth windings 31 to 34 each include one wire 30. The inner layer and the outer layer are alternately wound in the slot depth direction in the slot 15a for every six slots. The turns of the wires 30 folded on the end face side of the stator core 15 are arranged in the circumferential direction to form a coil end group. |
