titleOfInvention Non-sintered positive electrode for alkaline storage battery
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a non-sintered positive electrode for an alkaline storage battery having a high utilization rate and excellent productivity. SOLUTION: Nickel hydroxide coated with plate-like cobalt hydroxide particles having a thickness in a range of 0.025 to 0.3 μm and surface-treated with an organic acid or a salt thereof is used as a positive electrode active material. To form a non-sintered positive electrode for an alkaline storage battery. As the organic acid or a salt thereof, at least one selected from the group consisting of erythorbic acid, sodium erysorbate, L-ascorbic acid and sodium L-ascorbate is preferable.
