SOLUTION: A test tank 1 to which sample water is supplied, and a test tank 1 In a UV meter equipped with a UV detector 2 for measuring the ultraviolet absorbance of the sample water in the sample, a temperature detector 20 for measuring the liquid temperature of the sample water in the test tank 1 and a conductivity of the sample water in the test tank 1 are measured. A conductivity detector 22 and a calculator 24 for storing the measured values of the ultraviolet absorbance, the liquid temperature, and the conductivity, and calculating the trihalomethane-producing ability by calculation from the stored values. |
