abstract | (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide a drilling method for preventing contamination of a copper foil surface of a copper-clad plate when drilling with a carbon dioxide gas laser. SOLUTION: An etching film or a liquid etching resist is arranged on a surface of a copper clad board, and after developing only a target mark portion, the surface copper foil is removed by etching, and the target mark at this portion is read by a CCD camera. The outer layer and the inner layer copper foil are processed and removed to form through holes and / or blind via holes by directly irradiating a high output carbon dioxide laser selected from 10 to 60 mJ from the film or the resist. [Effect] Through holes and / or blind via holes can be directly formed by a carbon dioxide gas laser so as not to contaminate the surface copper foil. By using this copper clad board, a high-density printed wiring board could be obtained. |
