abstract |
(57) [Problem] To provide a magnetoresistive effect film in which an increase in a coupling magnetic field due to a reduction in the thickness of an intermediate layer is suppressed. SOLUTION: A pinned layer 3 having a magnetization whose direction is fixed. And a non-magnetic intermediate layer 4 formed on the pinned layer, and a free layer 5 formed on the intermediate layer and having a magnetization whose direction changes according to an external magnetic field. A magnetoresistive film showing a magnitude of resistance according to an angle formed between the direction of magnetization of the pinned layer and the direction of magnetization of the free layer, and directly or on the free layer or the free layer. A copper oxide layer 7 made of an oxide containing a copper element was formed with an oxide layer 6 made of a material obtained by oxidizing the material constituting the free layer interposed therebetween. |
