(57) Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an oxidation catalyst unit (2) that burns fuel in a combustion chamber (14) and performs a catalytic oxidation reaction of unburned components in exhaust gas (E) discharged from the combustion chamber (14) to an exhaust passage (7). It is an object of the present invention to provide a technology capable of reducing unburned components in exhaust gas E and discharging exhaust gas with less unburned components irrespective of the state of exhaust gas E in the engine system 100 provided. SOLUTION: A temperature detecting means 16 for detecting a catalyst temperature of the oxidation catalyst section 2 is provided. When the temperature detection means 16 detects a catalyst temperature of the oxidation catalyst section 2 which is equal to or lower than a lower limit value of a predetermined catalyst temperature range, A heating unit A for heating the exhaust gas E supplied to the oxidation catalyst unit 2 is provided. |
