titleOfInvention | Method for producing polyvinyl alcohol-based flame retardant fiber |
abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide an efficient method for producing polyvinyl alcohol-based flame-retardant fiber which is useful for clothing, industrial materials and living materials and has excellent cost performance. SOLUTION: A spinning solution obtained by dissolving a vinyl alcohol-based polymer and a halogen-containing polymer in a common organic solvent is wet or dry-wet spun into a solidification bath to produce a PVA-based flame-retardant fiber. The average particle size is 150 μm or more, and the maximum particle size is 600 μm or less. |
