titleOfInvention Laser equipment
abstract (57) [PROBLEMS] To reduce the overall size of a device by using a laser medium having excellent characteristics inherent in a neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet crystal and having a reduced overall size. A laser device is provided. In a laser device, a laser medium is disposed in a resonator, and laser light is emitted from the resonator by causing laser oscillation in the resonator by irradiating excitation light to the laser medium. The laser medium was a single crystal of yttrium aluminum garnet to which neodymium as a laser active ion was added in a concentration exceeding 1.3% in terms of the number of atoms.
