abstract (57) [Problem] To establish a conductive oriented flake zinc oxide exhibiting excellent performance as a component for imparting conductivity to an antistatic agent or an antistatic paint, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The orientation index determined by the following formula (1) is 40 or more, and the oxide of a trivalent metal is contained in an amount of 1 × 10 -4 to 2 × 10 -1 mol per mol of zinc oxide in terms of metal. Disclosed are conductive oriented flake zinc oxide and a method for producing the same. Orientation index = [34.56 ° / (31.88 ° + 34.56 ° + 36.36 °) × 100 (1) (each numerical value in the formula represents the intensity at 2θ angle in X-ray diffraction)
