abstract | (57) [Summary] [Problem] A silver halide photographic material for X-ray mammography having high contrast, excellent diagnostic performance, and good storage stability, A processing method and an X-ray image forming method using the same are provided. A silver halide photographic material having at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer on one side of a support and a backing layer on the opposite side, wherein the photosensitive silver halide emulsion is provided. At least one of the layers has at least 50% of the total projected area doped with at least one metal ion of Rh, Ru, Re, and Os.
