abstract |
(57) [Problem] To provide excellent adhesion to a functional layer and excellent dimensional stability even when used under severe conditions, especially to an ink layer when used for a thermal transfer recording material. Provided is a polyester film which is excellent in properties and dimensional stability of a substrate at the time of printing and can obtain a transferred image excellent in gradation. SOLUTION: At least one surface of a polyester film is provided with a coating layer obtained by applying a coating liquid containing a thermoplastic resin, followed by drying, stretching and further heat treatment.
