titleOfInvention | Aqueous organosilicon emulsion and method for producing the same |
abstract | [PROBLEMS] To provide an aqueous organosilicon emulsion having high permeability, high water repellency and high water absorption prevention performance, excellent stability over time, and useful as a water absorption inhibitor, and an efficient production method thereof. Aim. SOLUTION: In a method for producing an aqueous organosilicon emulsion containing an organosilicon compound, water and a reactive emulsifier, a raw material aqueous organosilicon composition containing the organosilicon compound at a concentration of 30 to 70% by weight is prepared by using a reactive emulsifier. Step (1) of producing a first emulsion by emulsifying the emulsion below, and diluting and mixing the first emulsion obtained in the step (1) with water so that the concentration of the organosilicon compound is less than 30%. (2) preparing an aqueous organosilicon emulsion, wherein the dilution and mixing time in the step (2) is 180 minutes or less. |
