abstract [PROBLEMS] To provide a sublimation-type thermal transfer sheet in which generation of shavings by a thermal head is suppressed, and a sublimation-type thermal transfer recording method capable of forming a normal image using the thermal transfer sheet. SOLUTION: A thermal transfer color material layer is provided on one surface of a substrate, A sublimation-type thermal transfer sheet having a heat-resistant lubricating layer provided on the other surface, wherein the substrate is formed of an aromatic polyamide resin film, and the heat-resistant lubricating layer is formed of a polyamideimide resin. A sublimation type thermal transfer sheet and a sublimation type thermal transfer recording method using the sublimation type thermal transfer sheet.
