(57) [Problem] To provide an ink jet recording element which is excellent in image quality, has a small difference in gloss, and has better light-fading resistance. SOLUTION: The following layers: a) a hydrophilic absorbing layer containing gelatin or poly (vinyl alcohol); b) an adhesion promoting layer containing pectin or alginate; and c) a hydrophilic overcoat layer containing hydroxyethylcellulose. An inkjet recording element comprising a support having thereon the above described order. |
