titleOfInvention Positive electrode active material for non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery and method for producing the same
abstract [PROBLEMS] For a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of improving the initial capacity of a secondary battery without impairing formability and packing density as a positive electrode while maintaining high cycle characteristics by adding other elements Provided is a positive electrode active material and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: Li 1 + x Mn 2- y My O 4 (wherein, M is at least one metal element selected from the group consisting of Cr, Ni, Co, Al, Mg and Fe, and 0 ≦ x ≦ 0.10 and 0 <y ≦ 0.33), wherein the secondary particles of the lithium manganese composite oxide have a spherical or elliptical spherical shape. The positive electrode active material for a secondary battery is characterized by further comprising at least one compound of a metal element M selected from the group consisting of Cr, Ni, Co, Al, Mg and Fe, wherein the molar ratio of manganese to metal element M is 2-y: a manganese compound in which the shape of the secondary particles added in advance is spherical or elliptical spherical is mixed with a lithium compound such that y is 0 <y ≦ 0.33, The method is characterized by a method of producing a positive electrode active material for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery by heat treating the mixture.
