titleOfInvention | Method of manufacturing inkjet printer head and inkjet printing apparatus |
abstract | (57) Abstract: A method for manufacturing an ink jet printer head capable of permanently maintaining the hydrophilicity of a hydrophilic region required for an orifice plate, and an ink jet printing apparatus provided with the ink jet printer head. I do. A resistance heating section is first provided on a head chip. 1, a partition wall 23 surrounding this, an orifice plate 24 is laminated thereon, and a mask pattern 3 of a Ti film 32 is formed thereon. 2-1 is formed. Orifice 2 by oxygen plasma 33 using helicon wave etching equipment and O 2 gas for processing 5 and a Ti oxide film 32-2 is formed on the surface of the Ti film 32, and is used as a hydrophilic region 28. When the power is turned on, when a predetermined number of sheets have been printed, or after a lapse of a predetermined time, the hydrophilic region 28 is irradiated with ultraviolet rays to restore the hydrophilicity of the Ti oxide which deteriorates with time by photocatalysis. |
