abstract (57) [Problem] To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor manufacturing apparatus capable of suppressing generation of unevenness due to an air current without using a special apparatus. A manufacturing apparatus for forming a photosensitive layer on a photosensitive substrate by dip coating, wherein the substrate is dip-coated in a stretchable hood in which two or more cover members for suppressing air flow around the substrate are connected. In a manufacturing apparatus in which the elastic hood is provided together with the substrate or the substrate holding device so as to cover the peripheral surface of the substrate, solvent vapor evaporating during dip coating on the lower end and / or side surface of the elastic hood is discharged. An apparatus for manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor, wherein a possible opening is provided and a horizontal wind from the outside of the hood does not directly hit the substrate through the opening.
