abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel disinfection method for disinfecting a contact lens using a disinfectant which can exhibit an excellent disinfecting effect over a long period of time and is safe and easy to handle. To do. SOLUTION: A contact lens to be disinfected is immersed in the disinfecting solution using a disinfecting solution in which water-dispersible titanium oxide fine particles are dispersed and contained in an aqueous medium. The contact lens was disinfected by light irradiation.
